This is one story, in the series of stories, about how drivers are their own worst enemy. Their own behaviors cost them certain perks.
Years ago I was loading at a company called, Oil Tanking, down in Texas City, Texas. Oil Tanking is a large tank farm on the Galveston Bay Coast. I would go there often and load containers and liquid tanks, and take them back to our yard.
Well waiting to load of trucks, and also waiting for paperwork and lab results, bathrooms were unavailable. They did have porta-potties stationed around the plant. Conventional bathrooms were unavailable to truck drivers.
One day I asked one of the operators why that was the case. He told me that a few years ago, a black female truck driver, got angry about something. So then, she went into the bathroom, and destroyed the bathroom in her angry fit!
Because of that episode, they made all the bathrooms unavailable to all truck driver's. So now because of the one stupid, pig of a truck driver, we all have to use porta-potties now. One of the many ways truck drivers are their own worst enemies!
