Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
After helping out a fellow driver out at the yard in the cold, it's in the mid thirties out this morning, I take off. I had my regular schedule load of Freon to Daiken in Waller TX.
At the gate of the plant I see Tyrone already there in his J.B. Hunt bobtail tractor. I haven't seen him in a while! I gave him a copy of both of the books that I have written. We talked for a minute but with it being so cold out, not too long!
He told me that he was off work for three months with so sleep apnea! He wasn't very happy about it since he lost a lot of money and had trouble with the insurance company paying him for short term disability.
It was good to see him again. He asked me some advice on how to publish his book and I advised him on Amazon like I did or Lulu.com. No up front cost and access to Amazon's marketplace.
He texted me more about it later when we were both in our warm tractors. It was in the mid thirties and and very strong wind blowing that made it feel so much colder!
He asked me to write his book for him, but I told him that he needed to write it himself and that I was too busy anyway. The only person that could truly write your story is always yourself.
Have anyone at work asked you to help them before? Can you tell me about it in the comments section?
