I have my regular schedule load of Freon to Daiken in Waller, TX. My town of Deer Park has a shelter in place order because ITC is on fire!
ITC stands for Intercontinental Terminal Company. It is a large tank farm of two hundred forty large storage tanks. They load and unload ships, barges, rail road cars and trucks.
Six tanks we're on fire which then spread to nine tanks! It started yesterday morning and will burn two more days said the experts. Xelene and Gasoline and Taluene tanks were on fire and they told everyone that there is no danger to the air! Really, black chemical smoke and that is okay to breathe!
I did my two loads of Freon to Daiken in Waller TX. It all went well and returned to the yard. It was an easy day today and it looks like I will get seven loads in this week.
