Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
In my job, transporting for Trimac Transportation, Freon gas to the Daiken Air Conditioning plant, in Waller, Texas, I had to use some company issued tools. One of the tools that I needed was a brass hammer. Now they are called Spark resistant hammers, but still a brass hammer, just more expensive. Below is a picture of two hammers, the top one is the new one, and the bottom one is the old one!

Years ago the bottom one looked just like the top one. When I see the old hammer, I see my own personal work history and hard work over the years. Everyone else just sees an old dirty used up hammer.
I got the new hammer just a few weeks before my retirement from my career in driving. I really ordered it for my replacement. I took this picture myself on the back of the container chassis on which the ISO container sat upon.
I really enjoyed my job moving Freon to the plant. It was one of the best local routes that my company ran. I retired soon after, a little over a year ago. I found this picture and thought about what this simple tool represented to me and wanted to share my thoughts.
