Oil Change Chaos

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

This story is one of several in a series of how truck drivers are their own worst enemy.

Robert and I wrote the factory, we had just hooked up the container and we started the offloading. It was my first love with two of for today. We were discussing how people were their own worse enemy.

Years ago Trimac Transportation put a tote of oil in the fuel island, so that if the driver can top off his oil in his engine. As we're were fueling up the truck for the day, we would check the oil level, and top it off if necessary.

It didn't take long before owner operators, those are drivers who own their own trucks, would give themselves free oil changes! That wasn't the purpose of the oil being there. Plus they would drain the old oil in the pit, and plug up the pit. So they had to take the oil out!

This is one of the many reasons over the years, truck drivers tend to be their own worst enemy. Having a will on the fuel island was a very big convenience for the drivers. Now that perk is gone and never coming back!
