Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I had a trainee today, he was a short, plump, African American man. He had a very good disposition and was quite intelligent. He and his wife had originally lived in Maryland, and came to Texas about ten years ago. They settled down in Katy, Texas, a suburb town west of Houston.
It was great talking with him since he is quite intelligent, and can carry a conversation very well. But when I was talking with him, I found out that he gets a lot of false information from off social media that he considers to be truthful.
He was telling me about things in history that were obviously untrue. One example I can give you is that about the Sphinx in Egypt. And how it had his nose blown off.
He told me that Europeans from Europe didn't like that the Sphinx had an African face on it, and so because they hate black people, they blew it off. And his source was a article on Facebook by a black supremacist site!
So I set him down informed him of true history and that he needs to read real history books instead of fake sights on Facebook or other social media sites so I told him that soldiers under Napoleon one day were drunk and bored and for fun they decided to shoot a cannonball at the sphinx's face.
So Napoleon's French soldiers blew out the nose not because they're racist against black people, It's because they were drunk, and bored, and did something on the spur of the moment they regretted.
The biggest problem is that people today just do not read! They don't read real books! They only read fake stuff on their phone, or the latest TicTok video! People need to put down their phones and read real history books relating real facts!
