Catalytic Converters

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I was with the young man, training to him how to drive a chemical truck, and learn the business of trucking, with Trimac transportation. He seemed like a decent young man.

For the last ten years, he had been in the junk car business. Buying junk cars for two or three-hundred dollars, taking all the good parts off of them, and then selling the rest for scrap metal.

He told me about all the different parts of the car they would take off, and sell separately, being that they were valuable. One of the things they took off were chrome rims, stereos, any kind of specialty item, and catalytic converters.

Catalytic converters can resell for seven to eight-hundred dollars! Hey Tommy bought a junk car They always made sure to saw off the catalytic converter and sell that separately. The scrap metal price was decent but it was the only extras that made it very profitable.

Have you ever been in the junk car business? If you have can you tell us about it in the comments section? If you enjoyed the story and wanted to catch all the future stories you can click on the "follow" button at the top of the page.
