Roof Construction

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

It's Monday morning, and I'm delivering my first load of the day. What do I see, a construction zone going on in my unloading area!

So I pull up to stay out of their way. Joe comes and moves a few things, but I see they're going to move the big lift in the area. Mike is the one driving it, and they left up the pipe on the first one. But decide the second one they just walked it up the ladder.

They're putting a roof over the front unloading area. The area machinery and pumps between the two Freon tanks. They want to protect that area from the sun, rain, and moisture getting in there.

They have some electronics and control panels operating the machinery. They've been having water seep in and blowing fuses. So the told Jose, in the welding shop to make a roof. New blueprints or any guidance. So Jose is putting a roof up.

Driving the lift is Mike. The guy on the ladder to the left is Joe. And the guy in the ladder to the right is Jose. Both Jose and Joe work in the welding shop. Mike is an old retired cop, who just works general maintenance.

They're moving pretty quick to build the roof that was requested. Jose just decided to keep it simple. Six metal posts going up, post going up across, and sheet metal as the roof.

Because working in the metal shop is very adjective. Those guys can build just about anything! If you know some guys like that, can you tell us about the comment section? If you enjoy these stories from my work you can click the follow button at the top of the home page.
