This morning, as most mornings, I had my old uniforms from yesterday, and I took them with me, to turn in so they can be washed and returned back to our yard. Because I had a student, and I didn't want too many things in the truck, I put the uniforms and a bunch of hangers on the back step of the tractor.
A small still voice told me not to do that, because I have forgotten them there before. But with the railing up, the couple of times I've forgotten them there, they've always wrote there just fine until I got to my destination seventy-five miles away!
Well I should listen to that small still voice because I did forget them there. When I got to Waller, Texas, seventy-five miles away, the hangers were there on the step but the uniforms were gone! I got out of the truck and saw the hangers, I said oh no I forgot my uniforms on the step!
I just hate when I do things like that. I did drive around in my personal car to see if the uniforms were lying on the streets somewhere. But I didn't find them. Well I'm retiring in five months, so I can work with one less pair of uniforms.
