Seeing An Old Friend Again

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

My second load of Freon was cancelled and both Cole and Jeana were on me to preload a load from Exxon in Baytown Texas at two o'clock.

I get back to the yard and switch trailers, head out to ExxonMobil in Baytown, Texas. I have to teach class tonight so I hoping that it won't take long. I get to the plant a little early.

After weighting light on the scale, I was walking around the truck. There where the box trucks check in, Assler Vagara was there waving at me!  His picture is above. We both meet up in the grass between us and have good visit!

Assler was fired from Trimac Transportation because he was at Dow in Freeport Texas talking on his phone on the loading rack. They asked him to stop, he argued with them, and then they banned him from the plant.

Assler tried to get on unemployment, but Trimac fought it. Assler eventually did get on unemployment, and stayed at home for six months! He said he eventually got bored sitting at home, and found a job with Suez, in Baytown, Texas. Suez is a French owned water company, delivering clean water for industrial use to chemical plants

It was sure great to see him again. I trained him when he first started at Trimac Transportation years ago! He is originally from Venezuela, and still has a strong accent!  I'm glad that he is now successfully and happy.
