Kenny Is Out!

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I heard today that Kenny is no longer Bob's helper. Kenny is a young guy at twenty-nine years old, and he was serving as Bob's maintenance helper. Bob is an older gentleman of sixty-four years, who is an immigrant from British Guyana.

Kenny was born in France, to a French mother. She married an American when Kenny was twelve years old. They moved here about seventeen years ago. Kenny was Bob's latest helper.

Bob has had a few helpers and they did well and wanted to learn, and Bob taught them a lot of knowledge. They are now doing well on their own making a very good living for themselves. Bob also had several that had no interest in learning and were lazy. They were all eventually terminated from the job.

Bob had told me that Kenny would just stay on this phone all day long. Even when they were standing before their supervisor, Kenny would be on his phone. Even their immediate boss, Lloyd, a very nice guy, complained that he was on his phone a lot!

Bob also would tell me that whenever they are doing a job, Kenny would usually have his hands in his pockets, not doing anything. He quickly got a reputation as being very lazy, which I think is right from what I've seen.

The company gave Kenny to someone else to be trained, but I think he was on his way out. It won't be long before they fire him. He's not really an employee yet, he's just a temporary employee, working for a temp agency. Which  makes it very easy to get rid of people. I always like Kenny, he's a nice guy, He just has some bad habits and he's not very assertive.
