Gosh, I Forget Everything!

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

It was a Thursday afternoon and I'm getting off from work. I took Friday off so I can have a 3-day weekend. Gretchen and I are going to Morgan City, Louisiana, One will take me three days off for that.

The problem is that it puts me in a hurry, and when I'm in a hurry, I always start forgetting things. This time it was worse than it's ever been! I drove around the yard and parked in my regular spot. Which for today was the wrong spot.

I did my paperwork, and scanned my bills into the computer system, and then I walked to the dispatch office. I showed up with the bills I need my times corrected, but not my load paperwork for the driver who's taking my place tomorrow. Also I didn't bring enough fittings.

As I was walking back to the truck to get my fittings and paperwork, And it dawned on me that I didn't drop my trailer either! I thought to myself I'm forgetting everything today! I guess I was too anxious to get out of there.

So I get back in the truck, and I drive it over to where I can drop it on concrete, since it's loaded. After dropping the trailer, I then bobtailed to the office, And handed over my freon fittings and put the loaded paperwork in the basket. Then I can drive to the car and unload my stuff from the tractor.

By being over eager to get out of there to start my 3-day weekend, It actually cost me some time! Every time something bad happened to me in the past, it's always because I was in a hurry! You think I will get out of that by now!
