Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I just came back to work after a week off. Gretchen and I, with my mother, we all flew to Wisconsin. I was off for a total of nine days. Andre Wheeler, my main relief driver, drove for me. Andre Wheeler is a middle aged black man who is also the company comedian!
When I got back Monday to deliver my first load of the new week, Robert helped me hook up. Robert is a middle aged black man, he is one of the maintenance guys here. I asked Robert if anything happened on my week off.
Robert kind of chuckled, and said, "he almost blew up the tank, as he nodded towards one of the Freon tanks. Robert said that Andre Wheeler filled up the tank to 140,000 lbs.!
Freon can only filled up to 85% capacity. Freon needs 15% room for expansion. 137,000 lbs in the tank would make 85%. Originally, the tanks had an emergency shut off sensor that would stop the pump when it got full. That sensor has stopped working, so the plant doesn't like to go past 130,000 lbs.
So going over the limit kind of rustled some feathers here at the plant! The plant pays three dollars a pound for this Freon, they don't want the emergency valve going off!
Also I found three red plastic seals on the ground. I pride myself on God work area hygiene. I picked up the seals and threw them away in the trash.
Robert also complained that Andre was hooking up and unloading before any Goodman manufacturing technicians arrived. They are the ones who check the tank levels, and decide which tank to unload into.
Andre Wheeler the wild was a little loose on his leash. I'm going to have a long talk with him about his behaviors before the bosses get to him! He's a young buck, and full of energy!
