Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I received a memo in my mailbox this morning. It says that the drivers can compete for up to a fifteen-hundred dollar monthly in bonus money for good driving. All the data will be collected from our truck computer in the Isaac system.
I noticed that the fifteen-hundred dollar monthly bonus they are offering, is a little more than the bonus I got for thirty years of driving for Trimac Transportation!

I find it very sad that they would like to give money to new drivers but not necessarily to the older experience drivers. The older drivers used to get a thousand dollar longevity bonus. They cancelled that two weeks before Christmas years ago! That's right, They cut the salary of their longest most dedicated employees two weeks before Christmas! Can we say, "Scrooge!". I was very angry when they did that!
But I guess I have to play the game since they don't value their older, most dedicated drivers. They only care about the here and now, in the new drivers. But looking around I don't see anything different from other companies. Employee morale has not been a concern for American companies for decades. Then they wonder why new, good employees are hard to find.
