A little over a year ago, I avoided a collision with a car. Here was the write-up of the incident.
Avoiding Collison
William Roop– One of the Driver Coaches out of Bayport 307 Displayed professional driving today. He avoided an accident and displayed the SMITH System. He saw that the car came up to the traffic light in the center lane and thought that they would continue forward (as that, the center lane is for forward only). As Mr. Roop was starting to make the right hand turn from the turn lane he noticed that the car was not going to go forward and was going to cut him off. He responded quickly and hit the brakes, maintained his lane and avoided an accident. I have added the recognition and awarded him the certificate for displaying exceptional skill. He not only protected himself, the student and company property – he also protected the public. Keep up the great work!
