Chinese Corona-virus Arrives!

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

The Corona-19 Chinese virus arrived around March in the Houston, Texas area.  They shut down the entire economy. which I don't think was a very good idea.  Everybody wearing masks, should have been good  enough.

Anyway, all the places of business, and our company gave us masks and told us to wear them. Trimac, my company, gave us cleaning supplies for inside the truck. Well, the cleaning supplies was appreciated since I like to keep my truck clean anyway.

Still even during the shutdown of the economy I did pretty good at my work. I still worked about four-days out of the week, and I had lots of vacation time built up, so I took a day's vacation once a week for about a month. And that helped give me a five-day week even though most businesses were shut down. That's a good thing about chemicals, is that it's a necessity item.

For the first several months every chemical plant wants you to wear a mask inside the plants. That requirement has ease some now they just want you to wear a mask when you're in a building. on my dedicated route the plant where I deliver wants to be and where I'm asking outside but that's okay They didn't supply me with masks.

No matter what the situation, we have to be flexible enough to meet the new demands.  If a restaurant, or place a business, should ask me to use a mask, that's not a problem, as it's just a small inconvenience. The important thing is to be flexible and understanding with everybody's concerns with this Corona virus.

As the Corvid-19 virus seems to get more widespread and killing more people, we are going to have to learn to be more resilient and flexible.  I have not been harmed much from it.  But, it's not over, the virus is continuing to spread!
