Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
When I was unloading my first load of Freon to Daiken in Waller TX. Jeremy, their young engineer, started walking towards me. It was about ten-in-the-morning, because I was delayed this morning by a water leak!
Jeremy had two signs in his hands and a roll of tape. One sign said, "Arkema Tank #1.". The other one said, "Honeywell Tank #2!". The Honeywell sign was the shocker! They are Arkema's competition!
When I took this job Arkema had just taken over the contract from Honeywell. It now looks like they are going to take it back! I asked Jeremy what was up, but he didn't know. I then called Cole Nelson, my dispatcher what was going on, I suggested that he call Arkema and find something out!
I the went to VLS Recovery, across the street to pickup my second load. I told Amber about it and she was stunned!
When I delivered my second load and returned, the boss was there. He was also stunned! We all had the "deer in the headlights look to us!". Because the delivery calendar that VLS Recovery has had loads up until the twelve of this month, and no more for the rest of the month!
