Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I was at work just before four in the morning, my regular time. I had one load of Freon to deliver to Daiken in Waller, TX. As usual I am already preloaded and ready to go. I got my coffee and paperwork together and took off.
As I was going around beltway eight around Houston, at the Fondren exit, I seen a lot of cop cars and the road was blocked off. There was a gas station there, so I figured that the "fellas" had robbed it last night.
I got to Daiken about fifteen minutes early and got the load off okay. While I was unloading the container, I heard on the radio that the police action that I had passed up was a scene in which a deputy was shot twice in the chest by someone he had just pulled over!
The deputy had a bullet proof vest on and he was just sore and shook up. But it was kind of surprising to have just passed it up a few hours ago!
I got my load for tomorrow, made a YouTube video, and headed back. I got back to the yard and Cole had a few trailers to move around. One to Deer Park yard and the other one to the Lone Star plant.
