I had my regular schedule load of Freon to Daiken, TX. Just one load today. My second load for later was a pre-load at Equastar at Sheldon Rd in Channelview. I've done that one before and it was a pain-in-the-ass! Certainly not worth the money that it paid!
I did call Cole Nelson about nine-in-morning. I reminded him of the empty container, TIFU 524080, that needed to taken to Boasso. I knew that he would balk, so I told him that the customer requested it! A small white lie!
Cole was unhappy that I was throwing that load back in his lap, but I made it seem like it is the customers fault. He bought it.
I went to VLS Recovery and they had no paperwork for it. I told them that I needed some, but they said to just go there and see if I do! The load pays by the hour, so I went. I needed to take my thirty minutes break, so I stopped at Taco Bell.
Yup, I needed paperwork, I did have to wait. Finally they got the paperwork from Arkema and I got the container off. I went out the back way and went to the Flying J truck stop to was my face and get a few boudon balls to snack on.
I started back to VLS to drop off the chassis and pick up my load for tomorrow. When I was at Hwy 249 and on the feeder trying to get on Hwy 99, a car cut me off! I had to slam on the brakes and barely miss that idiot! There was a guy yapping on a phone in a Cadillac Escapade right behind me. I was happy he didn't run into me! Then he went around me and cut off a car at the next intersection!
I got my load for tomorrow and got back to the yard. It was a fourteen hour day with a lot of driving. I was tired! I went home and went right to bed!
