My trainee today was Frederick Dennis. Fred "the menace" Dennis. Actually he is the opposite! Very nice young black man. He has known Andre Wheeler for twenty years!
I had my regular schedule load of Freon to Daikin in Waller TX. Fred said that he was hungry, so we stopped at the Love's truck stop. I got two bags of chips that were on sale.
We got back to the yard after getting tomorrow's load. I let the menace go for the day. He only got three hours of sleep last night because he stayed up to watch football!
He said that he just got back to work after a three days trip to Paris, France. He told me that he had almost got picked pocketed there!
He told me that he and his wife was looking to buy a new home with a twenty-five hundred dollars mortgage! I advised him to buy a smaller starter home.
He told me that he had problems with his dad which died of AIDS at forty-nine years of age. I told him that the Bible says that we reap what we sow!
I went to LaPorte Tire to pick up a tractor, but found out that it wasn't there. Shane picked me up and took me to Southern Tire, which is where it was!
