Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
Because I had to work till seven in the evening, (see the post "Long Acid Line."). That means that I could not start this morning until five. I needed to get my ten hour break logged. I did come in about four and was ready to drive when I logged in at five.
I did my dedicated run to Daikin in Waller, TX. Freon to an air conditioning plant. I got that unloaded and went across the street to get tomorrows load. Driving back to the yard I listened to a class about spiritual healing.
I got back to the yard to switch trailers to preload in Pearland at one. But as I got on the yard the bottom fell out and the winds were blowing and the rain came down in a downpour! I circled the yard and drove into the fuel island to eat my lunch, hoping the rain would blow over by then. I eat my lunch and went outside and it was still pouring down!
Well, I couldn't wait, I had to get going. I dropped the Freon container in the pouring rain and hooked to the new trailer, in the pouring rain! I pulled back into the fuel island to inspect the trailer and to mop it out. It was wet inside for sure.
By the time I was leaving the yard it started to clear up. I got to Third Coast and got loaded up and dropped it back on the yard. It was a good twelve hour day!
