Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
The first thing I had to do was go to Exxon in Baytown to get an empty trailer and get a tire size on another trailer that had a flat. I had Joe Mims with me today. We got to Exxon and had to wait for a bunch of construction guys to check in. Exxon's BOP plant is in the middle of a Turn-Around. It took awhile and we both had to watch their safety film.
The Exxon escort was a total idiot, he had no idea where we needed to be, and said he would meet us. Good thing that David Beacon gave me directions at the branch before I left! Seen the flat tire on the other trailers and called in the tire size.
We returned to the branch with the good trailer and switched trailers. While there in the drivers room I seen Chris Kall and Shelton Groomer giving our new branch manager a tour of the place. Chris Kall was promoted to a Region manager and Sam, the branch manager of Beaumont-Cheek is coming here to be the new boss.
My trainee and I hooked up to our new trailer and went to Rohm and Haas to preload our Garland load for tomorrow. That went smooth, well except all of the gear jamming by my trainee! Mr. Mims sure needs lots of work.
