Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
Today marks my twenty-one year anniversary here for Trimac Transportation. Time sure does fly! I have a pre-loaded trailer and ready to go. A student of Ronnie Martin, Joe Mims, was sitting in the drivers room and Ronnie was not showing up so I gave Ronnie a call.
He said that his gall bladder was swelling up and he could not move and wasn't coming in to work. So I told Joe to that I was also a driver instructor and he could come with me to Dallas. Money is money. So he came with me. As we left the branch, Mike Adams called me to take Joe with.
I got to the customer in Mesquite a bit after noon. I was told that the product would be unloaded into totes, but I soon found out that I would unload into a another truck! And that truck was not yet there! Five hours later the truck shows up! I unloaded into two totes and the rest in the ISO container the truck brought in. I was in the plant for six hours and forty-five minutes! It was a very long day!
