Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I started today at four in the morning. I needed to take an empty trailer to the Deer Park branch for some repairs. I then needed to load MDI at Dow in Freeport at seven. I got down there and just as they started to load the trailer, Jerry, the cowboy from Mission Transport, showed up. We talked for the whole three hours it took to load.
As I was leaving the plant I stopped at the A-plant cafeteria for lunch. I should have picked up the special which was a burger, fries and a soda for five bucks. Instead I got the Philly cheese steak, chocolate milk and onion rings. That was ten bucks and it wasn't even any good!
Got back to the branch and dropped the trailer there. I was then told by Chris Kall, my branch manager that my name would be put on the door of my truck. He came out and took a picture of the drivers door. They are recognizing my twenty years of service to Trimac and so Chris Kall took my picture for the company newspaper. And as a symbolic thanks for the twenty years they gave me a random drug screen form for the local clinic! Nice!
