Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I have a load of sulfuric acid from Altivia in Houston to Dixie chemical in Pasadena. Also a container load from Texas City to Maasrik rail line in La Porte. The loading went fast and delivered it to Dixie chemical in Pasadena. While there my dispatcher, Jack, called me to ask if I could load the container an hour earlier. I thought that I could and told him that. I was to drop that acid trailer at the plant but they were not sure till a supervisor came and said to just drop it right where it was. I was glad to here it since I needed to go.
I went back to the branch and got a chassis and brought it to Dana in La Porte. Got the container and stopped at the Shell fuel stop to get some lunch. Fish and shrimp with mashed potatoes and green beans. They have good food at a fair price.
I continued on to Union Carbide in Texas City to load. There I seen the Dragon Lady for the first time in a long time! Our dispatcher calls her that because she always gives him a hard time. She is always nice to me. Seen her new office and loaded up pretty fast. Delivered it to the rail line at Barbours Cut port in La Porte.
