Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I had a load of BF from Goodyear in Cheek,TX to to TPC in Houston. I had Aaron Ray with me to train. My tractor would not start since it sat for 2 days. So I got another tractor and grabbed the trailer and took off.
Got to Goodyear on time and found out that they had no idea that we were coming. They had a lot of maintenance planned and we waited 7 hours to load! We were in the plant over 8 hours. While we waited we both slept off and on for the first 4 hours. I then took Aaron to the Trimac branch there inside the plant. We stayed there a few hours chatting with the folks there. Even though I had a long wait I had a trainee so didn't get any picking done.
After loading we went to Winnie,TX. There is a Chinese restaurant and I bought us lunch. Just too late for the lunch buffet so we had to order from the menu. Good food. We had a good talk as well. We dropped the trailer at the consignee and bob-tailed back to the branch.
