Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I was on a load from Orange,TX to Pasadena, TX. The trailer I was dispatched looked alright at first but I tried to put on the product cap and it stunk of acidic acid, which it turned out was the last contents. I climbed up on top and the dome was locked down tight.
A cleaned out trailer would have been open. The two vent lines were still sealed from the last load. You don't clean a trailer and not take off the seals. I took the trailer to the wash rack and they verified that the trailer needed to be rewashed. For a supposed clean trailer it sure did stink!
So I dropped it, and they had another trailer clean. That trailer did have a small order in it so I popped the dome and left open for the 2 hours it takes to drive to Orange. It was fine when I loaded. The rest of the day went great and got off a little early to start early tomorrow.
