Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
It was cool and windy this morning. Not too cold, which is good since I don't like it too cold. Another load to Corpus Christi of sulfuric acid for me. So I left Therapy, my banjo, behind. I miss her already. Another day of dodging four-wheeler s! I.m now sitting here in Victoria, Texas, taking a coffee break right now. Texas pecan coffee, one of my favorites!
Got to Valero and after I scaled, I was driving to the main gate, a pick-up passed me up on the right IN THE GRASS. That's right, the bozo could not wait a few seconds for me to make my left turn, he has to jump off the road and pass me in the grass.
After I'm hooked up and unloading, the operator walks out looks the area over, walks to me and says, "well, I guess you don't need me." I gave a small chuckle and said, "Nope, I sure don't."
It was very windy all day and it killed my fuel mileage, so I had to stop in Edna, TX for 25 gallons of diesel, so I could make it back to Houston. That's okay, I needed to stretch my legs anyway.
From just outside of Corpus Christi, and all the way to Edna I had this idiot slowing down in front of me and not letting me pass him. He would speed up or pass me again after I just passed him. I have no idea what these idiots are thinking when they do stuff like that!
