Just One More Load

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

Today I had two loads scheduled, but when I showed up for the mornings first delivery, I knew we didn't have enough room for two loads!

I unloaded my first load, and the tanks were full. So I had the plant operator take down the numbers, and report them to their purchasing department. I was pretty sure they're going to cancel the load but they did not.

They said for me to wait till 1:00 to make the delivery. That is my normal delivery time for my second load but I always deliver ASAP. Yeah I did go get some fuel then take my lunch and then I did go back to the plant.

I could have waited a couple hours till 1:00 to start offloading. But there was really no point even if I waited two more hours there still would not be enough room in both tanks to offload the tank. When I start now or start 2 hours from now it wouldn't have made a lot of difference.

So I had onyx called over to talk about it. When you told him the numbers we called purchasing department to inquire what I want need to do. After some time on the phone he finally said let's move the second load today to tomorrow.

With two assembly lines down waiting for parts the factory just is not using a lot of freon. The Arkema seems to think if we said one more load over there somehow though make more air conditioners. In Goodman that makes the air conditioners or paranoid about leather tanks get a little empty.

And that usually puts me in the middle since I'm the delivery driver. But I know the supervisors and I know when the call them and motivate them to do the right thing. Sometimes you got to do what you got to do.
