Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I unloaded my first load, went across the street, picked up my second load, and returned to the plant. When I pulled up to the tanks, I found out that there was a pickup truck, and an SUV park directly in front of my unloading lines.
Onyx was first on the scene and then Jeff came to the area. Both of them had no idea who the vehicles belong to or what contractors they were working for. But one of the vehicles had a old badge with the name and photograph of the person.
Two supervisors Lloyd and Mohamed, came out to look over the situation. They were going to give him some time, and then they're going to call for the cars to be towed away, or picked up by a large forklift and moved!
While we're waiting, Jeff went into the plant to see who the vehicles belong to. While Jeff was doing that, I talked with both supervisors about pavement markings and do not park signs.
The Daikin supervisors were in favor of putting poles with chains to keep contractors from parking area. I was against that because that's just an obstacle that could be hit by either me, or someone else. Plus they already have that type of system for the propane tank, and the propane tank is always blocked.
I recommended putting pavement markings, and do not park, and also other signage. It is someone parked there have them towed away at their expense. If a contractor has his pickup truck towed to a impound lot, that would teach them a lesson they would never forget!
At first they agreed with me, that they would do what I wanted. But then a few hours later I found out they changed their mind, and wanted to put up the obstacles. I told him once or twice that I'm retiring, so it really doesn't matter, they can do whatever they want.
