I came to work Monday morning to start my usual day, of delivering Freon to Waller, Texas. Who do I see in the driver's room, The legend himself, the clown of the company, and an all around great guy, KW Dreier!
K.W. has found it in a drawer, in a closet, an old DSI transportation phone book! That was a fantastic fun and he wanted to show it to me. So he waited until he caught me at the yard someday. That someday was today.
So he pulled out this little phone book and showed it to me. I was amazed to see it! It has been thirty years since I had one! I was very happy to see it, and look in the names that was inside it!
It's amazing how one little phone book can bring back such memories of decades ago. Especially since I have less than three months to work before I retire! Thirty-one years with Trimac and thirty-three years total in the trucking industry. All three pictures you see in this blog, are the actual pictures of the phone book.
