Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I had a trainee all week. His name is Clearance Senegal, but he went by CJ.. He is an older black man of sixty-five. He said that he had been living and working in the Northwest, and recently moved down here. He called himself CJ, but I call him BS.
I made him mad the first day, because I highlighted some of his bad driving habits! He didn't like that, because he said that he drove for the Waggoner's Trucking company for thirty-five years. I guess that he thought he was a super trucker!
I informed Jesse, our safety manager, that he was mad. Jesse told me, that he said that I was a good trainer! So, I thought, okay. He was definitely butt-hurt about our day.
We had three more days together, contention every day, but I got through it. I ended up with him praising me as a good trainer! I guess he could drop him prideful spirit to acknowledge my efforts to train him.
