You Just Need To Be A Team Player!

 Hello Everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I had a student driver a few days ago. I was teaching him how to work in our company. How to work the equipment and how to fill in all the paperwork involved.

We were together a few days and he told me a lot of stories. What are the stories was when he worked for an another guy, on the other side of town. This guy owned four or five trucks and he hired them to drive one of them.

He hired him at a flat salary of a thousand dollars a week. No matter how much you worked or how many days he worked he made a thousand dollars a week. Some weeks he works very long hours. In a few weeks he only worked four days out of the week.

After about a year it went really well. But then business dried up for this man. And now my Chinese said he was only working two or three days a week consistently. One payday he opened up his check to find out he only made four-hundred dollars!

He asked his boss why his check was so low. It should have been one-thousand dollars. The man just kind of looked around looked at the ground and says, "well we all need to be a team player here." And he also said, "we all need to burden each other's burdens."

He said he quit not too long after that. One of the major regions he was working for him was the steady paycheck that he promised. If you can't keep your promise you shouldn't make the promise to begin with!

Has anybody else had a boss who did not pay what they're supposed to pay? You can share it with us in the comment section. If you enjoy the story and like to hear more, just click on the phone button at the top of the homepage.
