No English

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

It's Friday morning, there's a thin slow drizzle coming down, and I'm walking to my truck parked down the line. It's very dark out and I see this truck to my left start to pull out.

Then I hear a scraping noise, and I see that his landing gear is still down! So I start waiting and yelling at him to stop! He doesn't see me because he's looking in his left mirror. He sees what he's doing and he probably hear it too!

He stopped the truck, and by that time I'm walking up on him. It's a Prime Chemical truck, not one of ours. It's a little company of three or four trucks it's owned by a older Hispanic man. They rent out four or five spaces on our yard.

I walk around the tractor and the driver gets out. He's a short, skinny, older Hispanic fellow. I've never seen it before so I guess he's a new driver. He gets out and I say to him, "I think you forgot something?" But when he gets out of the truck he's picking Spanish. I say something else in English, And he just keeps talking Spanish as he starts walking back to dolly up his landing gear.

I take it he doesn't speak any English at all. I guess with all the millions of Hispanics in the country, and hundreds of thousands flowing in every year, this is what the future looks like!
