Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I had just parked for the day, and I was doing my paperwork in the cab of my truck. I was just sitting there in the truck minding my own business. When I saw a short black guy, walking around looking at trailer, directly in front of me.
I watched him walk around this trailer looking at it, and and wondering what he was doing. I went back to doing my paperwork looked up and he was gone. A few minutes later he dries up in a white Peterbilt bobtail. Not a large car Peterbilt but just an average sloped hood model.
It looked like He was having some trouble trying to back up to the trailer. There was tons of room between me and him, and around him. So I have no idea what the problem was. So I had my door open and I was lacing up my boots, when he was trying to say something to me.
He had pulled up and was angry that I wasn't backing up for him, to give him more room. But he had tons of room, so much room I have no idea why he was having issues! Plus, I couldn't back up I had bobtail truck behind me!
He made the comment, "I guess its probably too inconvenient for me to back up!" I yelled at him, "You don't need to be rude! I can see he was getting angry but that was his own fault, because it didn't look like he knew how to drive. So I yelled at him again I said, "Do you want me to drive your truck for you?"
After I said that he gave me a dirty look! I yell again, "You sure you don't need any help?" He gave me another dirty look and he said something that I didn't understand, since he was trying to back up! He eventually got underneath the trailer.
It was apparent to me this little short black guy, couldn't back up a truck for the life of him. Apparently it must have been from Beaumont, because I didn't know him and he was hooking to an isoprene trailer. A lot of those isoprene drivers cannot back up. They never have to back up pulling those loads, And either they didn't know from the beginning or they just get rusty.
But I shouldn't ask me to do something dangerous just because he doesn't know how to back up. It was a very simple back, And he should have been able to do it without any problems! He shouldn't be mad at me He should be mad at him and himself! You should maybe practice for a little bit!
