It Seems Normal Now

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I had just hooked up my first load of the day, and was walking to the bathroom. Just before I got to the bathroom that's located in the back of the shop, I meet Lena.

Half the shop is fabrication of metal structures. The other half of the shop is for forklift repair. In the back of the shop are bathrooms. Both Jose, Joe, and Lena work in the medal  fabrication shop. All three are Hispanics, and all three are great people.

But Lena drops what she's doing and walks over to where I'm walking. I'm trying to see if she walked over just to talk with me. Lena is a young lady in her mid-twenties, average looks, but a nice lady. I've noticed that she has been talking with me off and on here lately. But she walks over with her mask on!

So I asked her why she's wearing her mask. She said that she just wanted to wear it. I told her that I thought the bosses were coming down on them again to wear a mask. She told me she just felt normal now wearing a mask! I was a little shocked to hear that!

I looked at her, I said that's kind of shocking to hear you say it's normal to wear a mask. She kind of laughed a little bit, and admitted it, but said it's kind of true. I looked at her in amazement, and said it shouldn't be normal, to walk around like normal. Not wearing a mask is normal!

She said she's had been been wearing a mask all the time, and she is just more comfortable with the mask on now. She thought  that's what "they" want us to do is feel normal we're in a mask. A thought that she might be correct but I'm not going to wear my mask,!
