Running People Off!

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I rolled into Goodman manufacturing to deliver my second load of Freon for the day. It's Monday so I'm kind of tired and cranky anyway!

I rolled in and saw a work truck in my unloading area. Cars, fork trucks, lifts,  have been parking and creeping closer and closer in the tank farm towards my Freon tanks.

I tried backing in, but I couldn't back in far enough because the work truck was in my way, I didn't want to hit it! So I decided to turn around and block the truck in. I'm kind of passive-aggressive like that!

I drove forward about twenty feet and Mike came on the fork truck. Mike is an ex-cop in his fifties, big and bald headed.  So I told him that I couldn't back in because that truck was in the way!  He said he didn't know what to do about it. I told him that since he is a retired cop, I'll give him a clue! I told him the name of the company, and the phone number is on the door! So much for being an ex-cop!

I told him that I was going to turn around and block them in, Mike agreed and thought that was a good idea!  But he did get on the radio and call his boss to have him move it. Surprisingly, they came out very fast. Two guys came out to move it. And another guy came up to move his pickup truck.

When the guys walked out I told him this is a tank farm and now a parking area. Appointed towards the parking lot I says cars and work trucks park over there. He told me that if they're parking there they put up signs. I told him you shouldn't have to put up signs for common sense.

With that exchange of sharp words, they got in the work truck and moved. The other guy got in the pickup truck and moved it further down. Somebody's got to keep these people out of my area, the maintenance guys are not!

I know it seems kind of a drama queen, but I've got to keep the area safe. I shouldn't have to back around vehicles to get to my hoses. If I hit one of those work trucks then they'll act like it's the end of the world.  My day shouldn't be more difficult because somebody doesn't want to walk too far.
