Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
In a picture above you see Corey's truck all smashed up. Corey is a middle-aged black man, who wears a grill on his top teeth. I called them grill a couple times as a nickname but he didn't like, it so I started calling him by his name Corey.
Corey used to have a day cab that he had all decked out. I drove with them team driving to Tyler, Texas, to take a load of Freon with his truck. We had good time together. That wasn't really a good truck to have in this business so he finally sold it and bought this red Volvo.
If you're in the owner operator it's always best to have a sleeper truck than a day cab. The change seem to be a positive one because it's Volvo was a very nice truck. He had this red Volvo for about a year.
He was going down Interstate 45 in the Houston area when a container truck with no lights try to get on the freeway. It was very early in the morning and dark. T
As the container truck, with no lights, came on the freeway, Corey hit them.
From what I heard Corey broke a few bones in his hand but that was it. As you can see in the picture the crash was very violent and caused a lot of damage. I hope he heals up okay and he's able to get the insurance to pay him for a new truck.
Corey had this truck He had a brand new mustang and he had a luxury car or some kind, And it just bought a big house. The big house flooded during the Texas ice storm of 2021, when his pipes busted. It looks like he was in a lot of debt and I hope he's going to be financially okay.
Nobody really thinks they're going to have an accident, but you always have to plan on having one. You can't put yourself in too much debt and you need to have some money saved.William James Roop
