Hello everyone! Praise the Lord!
I came to work yet my regular schedule time, hooked up my truck and trailer, and got some coffee in the driver's room. The local transgender lady changed clothes in the female bathroom, and then went through the male bathroom to put her dirty uniforms up. I guess some folks have extra rights!
I had a full day of two loads of Freon to Daikin in Waller, Texas. I did my first load, it was cool and a little rainy, and then went and picked up my second load! I went to the local truck stop just down the road, and I made a video for my YouTube channel.
After my lunch, I went to unload my second load it was even more rainy and getting colder. Byron, the operator had pedaled his bicycle to the back of my truck, but when I went empty he was nowhere to be found. Marcelino the foreman, who is the jerk of the plant, didn't help me unhook, and then he rolled Byron's bicycle back to the welding shop.
When I return to VLS Recovery to pick up my load for tomorrow, there was a short balding man with a very short goatee checking in. I politely greeted him and then I noticed his notebook had Honeywell on it! Honeywell is Arkema's competitor in the Freon business, and is trying to take over the business!
After a few seconds he was directed to the trailer next to us. I sure wish I could listen, and heard what they talked about. I hooked up my trailer and finish doing my paperwork. I look up and There's the Honeywell guy with a company representative walking around and showing where the area where the trucks are loaded!
It looks like Honeywell is trying to take over Arkama's operation! If they succeed I hope they take me with them! This is such a good gravy train run for me, I hate to lose it! It looks like our competition is getting closer to making a deal with Daikin! It looks like I'll have to stay on my toes for a while!
Have you ever had a competitor creeping into your business? Can you tell me about it in the comment section?
