Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
Today I had a short day just one load a Freon to Daikin in Waller, TX. But even though it was short day, a lot went on! it started off normal just getting my coffee in the morning and paperwork and heading out.
I got the plant at my normal time of seven-in-the-morning. As Byron and I got the trailer hooked up and open, and pumping, Byron told me that they were making changes to the schedule Daikin.
Some people from a shift our days will be gone tonight and nights some summer nights will become the days. But the big news is that Marcelino The jerk on the schedule on days will be going nights! That means I won't be seeing him.
even though he didn't mess with my paperwork in my tractors license plate he at least put the hoses on and off the truck for me. So it wasn't all that bad, at least not the way it was everybody else in the shift!
Just as he was finishing saying that, we saw smoke in the parking lot! we walked over to the fence line next to the parking lot and saw a pickup truck on fire! The fire started fast and it got really big very quickly.
Byron the operator helping me got on the radio and called out the alarm. Several people came with small fire extinguishers and try to put it out, but the fire wouldn't go out it was just too big and had too much fuel inside the pickup.
The fire got very hot and once in awhile small explosions happened. Finally after the third small explosion people are told to get away from it! The fire went on for a while it was damaging cars around it until the fire truck finally came. the fireman responded and put the fire out very quickly with the big water hose they had.
Byron was out there helping next to the fire. His supervisor told him to get back to work when the fire truck came, instead he walked around towards where I was at by the fence. When Kyle saw him he yelled at him and pointed towards the factory which made Byron mad.
So I just had one load to do but it was a very eventful load. The car fire which I haven't seen before and Marcelino going to be sent to another shift which was great news. So it was a great day today and it was fun!
