Back At Daikin!

Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!

This is January fourteenth and it's my first day back at Daikin after one month of being off.  They shut down two weeks for Christmas and New Year's vacation , but they also brought in Honeywell to bring them some Freon loads. Honeywell is the competitor for Arkema, that is who I drive for.

So I got to the yard about four-in-the-morning. I first had to go to the airport to drop off The Klein's, friends of mine,  they're on their way to Jamaica for three separate spiritual warfare conferences for three weeks.  I brought to the airport but the Doctor Chang will pick him up 3 weeks from now but they were nice enough to go early to the airport so I can be on time for work!

So I got my bobtail, I didn't have a loaded container because I was off for four weeks, but the drove my bobtail to VLS Recovery in Hockley, TX.  When I got there I had to go to the bathroom,  it was dark and was about six-thirty in the morning. It was dark and drizzly and rainy and so I just got out of the truck.

There was a 18-wheeler box truck in front of me thought I would just go out and take a leak real quick in the grass  and I figured that the driver is a male and that would not be a big deal.  After I returned to the truck, I kind of dozed off in the truck guys at VLS Recovery woke me up and the box truck was gone!

I got my paperwork and went around the corner the box truck was there and in it was a woman!  I drove by and there was  a short plump black girl in the cab.  As I eased by she kind of looked at me like she seen me peeing in the grass!  But you know, whatever, that's the trucking industry!

I got the Daikin, first load,  they were coming around the corner on their bicycles .  I parked and they were overjoyed to see me!  One guy, Tom a new guy, a short white guy, he had fittings in his bicycle and he was shocked to see that I threw some fittings on the back of the trailer!  He told me,. "you got fittings," I said, "yeah I got fittings that's how you offload!"

He told me that the Honeywell drivers that had been coming, they didn't have fittings and some of the trucks didn't even have gaskets in their offloading lines! And the Honeywell drivers wouldn't even get out of the truck which I knew was Honeywell's company policy.  The drivers do not unload anything.

So this whole time I was gone the maintenance guys here had to hook up the Honeywell trucks it all flowed them and then how come they're done and some of the truck trailers didn't have some gaskets in them and so they had to decide do we reject this load,  or do we offload spewing out Freon, so they decided offload so we offload spewing out Freon tank gaskets!

I finished both loads and returned to the yard.  It was a good day and I was happy to be back.  It was also glad to hear that they had trouble with the competitors and maybe I will be appreciated more!
Hopefully Arkema will sign a new contract!

Where you ever in a contract dispute?  Can you tell me about it in the comments section?
