Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I got to the yard at four in the morning as usual, that will change since it appears that I am losing my dedicated run! I jump in and head out to Daiken in Waller TX. It was a nice cool morning out today.
I got to the tank farm and the new guys showed up right away. They are Fernando and Wiley. They were part of the facilities maintenance inside the factory, both had major surgeries and were demoted by their boss.
Their bigger boss intervened and put them in the outside facilities maintenance. Which is great since they are both great guys! I unloaded just fine. It is my last Friday here at Daiken it think. Honeywell is moving in!
I went across the street to get my second load, and the chassis had a flat tire! It wasn't totally flat, but halfway. I looked at it and there was a nail in the tread! So, I headed to the Loves Truck Stop only a few miles away.
I got lucky in that no other trucks were in the tire shop! I got right in and it was repaired right away. You can see the pictures of the truck in their shop. The rest of the day went well, my last Friday pulling Freon!
Have you ever found a flat tire on your vehicle before? Can you tell me about it in the comments section?
