Crazy Traffic

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I seen Mike Adams this morning and talked for a few minutes about the number of loads that we had and have been doing.  Then I jumped in my truck and got going to Daiken in Waller TX.

I have two loads scheduled but I had two Friday and filled up their tanks.  Now it's Monday and I didn't think that they were going to have the room.

I was right, they really only had room for one load!  I unloaded my first load at six-in-the-morning.  I went to get my second load, stopped at the Loves Truck Stop for my lunch.  Went back to Daiken, they still haven't the room in their tanks.

I thought that they were going to cancel my second load, but they didn't!  They wanted me to wait for the level of Freon to go down.  I waited three hours before I could even start to unload.

When I finally finished I went across the street to get my load for tomorrow.   I didn't just sit around, I was out of there in about fifteen minutes!

I found out the hard way that the I-10 bridge over the San Jacinto river being destroyed and close caused all of the other roads to get clogged up with traffic. That added delay made me thirty minutes over on my fourteen hours of service for the day!

So it was a long and crazy day today at work.  Just on a side not for today, I started Hebrew 1 this morning and it was crazy difficult!  Looks like lots of work ahead of me!
