Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I had my regular schedule load of Freon to Daikin in Waller TX. I seen Andre Wheeler at the yard. I got my loaded trailer for tomorrow at VLS Recovery and dropped it on the yard.
At the yard was a new driver, Tyrone Anderson, a fifty-seven year old black man. His girlfriend had a flat tire coming to pick him up and he had to leave out ten hours from now. So Sam Atkinson asked me to help him out and he would pay me for it.
So we left in my tractor. She was at a gas station at 610 and Broadway. We got there and Tyrone took the tire off. He had a spare tire in the trunk but not on a rim!
So we put the tire and rim on the back of the truck and was going to a tire shop. But because of the road construction we got on the gulf freeway instead of 610. Around Hobby airport, because Tyrone was on the phone with Cole, finally we got off and headed west to Telephone road.
We found a tire shop who took the broken remains of the old tire off and had seen that the rim was cracked! He said that he could not fix it and that he didn't have that tire in stock. It was an after market tire and rim!
Then Tyrone said that he wanted to go to Pick your part on Wallisville road! So we went there and passed it up! We turned around and pulled in. They didn't have it either! So we went back to the Telephone road area and finally found a shop that had a rim. He put the tire on it and I dropped Tyrone and his tire by his girlfriend, who had been sitting around waiting all afternoon!
I got back to yard tired and with only seven minutes left on my Qualcomm logbook! It turned out to be and long day and quite a boondoggle!
