Smashed Truck

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I got to the yard and the first thing that I seen was a tractor all smashed up!  See picture above!  Someone hit it very hard!

Then I discovered that my trailer lights were not working!  I sprayed WD-40 into the pig tails and in a few minutes they came on!


It was not raining but the yard was still flooded on both sides, but the level did drop some.  But I was on the high ground.

I then did my regular schedule load of Freon to Daikin in Waller TX.  It went well and when I got across the street to get my load for tomorrow, nothing was loaded!

I had to wait for the trailer to get loaded and wait for the paperwork.  That was a two hour delay.

I took it back to the yard and eat lunch, spaghetti from home since no lunch today even though it's Driver Appreciation Week.  Sad.

I dropped the container and bobtailed back to VLS Recovery to pick up a container for delivery to Trane Co in Tyler TX.  Someone else will deliver that tomorrow. 

But the container that they just loaded was not the one that Arkema wanted.  So I had to wait for another one to be loaded and wait for the paperwork.  That took two hours!

I started back just in time to catch rush hour traffic!  I had to use my Sixteen hours exception!  When I got back to the yard I had three minutes left!  Crazy long day!
