Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I had two loads of Freon to Daikin in Waller TX. Which is my regular schedule. Both of those loads went well.
I got my load of Freon to take back to the yard for the next day. Then Cole called and I reminded him that I was bringing back the company chassis, and I had time for a quick chassis switch.
He said he would check to see if it was ready. He called back and said that it was not at the Deer Park facility, but wanted me to check, since he trusted me more.
I stopped by the Deer Park yard and drove around it, and it wasn't there. I then went to our yard and it was in the far corner. Repaired and ready to go.
It was a bit late at that point so we ruled out the chassis switch. But as I was leaving Adam called me back into the office. Everyone was there and they presented me with a thousand dollar safety bonus for twenty years!
That was nice. But it did remind me that our new drivers are getting three thousand dollars bonus to hire on! But I didn't say anything. I was thankful for the bonus! We always want to give thanks to the Lord first and foremost.
