Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
It's Monday morning and I have a trainee today. His name is Isais. He is a little guy! He is about five foot nothing and very skinny. I asked him how much he weighted and he said, One-hundred and thirty pounds! I told him that I have a hundred pounds on him! But I very nice guy. We had a great time together. He was very agreeable.
He is a Hispanic guy in his fifties, divorced with no kids, and don't want any. He was born and raised in the Denver Harbor area of town. He still lives there even today.
He is a practicing Catholic but he was okay to listen to my Bible class over the truck speakers. Dr. Bruce Klein was teaching on Biblical Healing. He seemed to like the class, and then he told me how he had been listening the the Bible on tape.
While unloading the Freon in Waller, Isais complained that he was sleepy and wanted some coffee. I said that he could have some of mine from my thermos if he had a cup, which he did not. So, after we were unloaded, I took him to the Love's truck stop for some coffee. He got a large coffee and a big danish. He was very pleased that I had stopped for him.
It was a muggy humid day with on and off showers. Nothing to serious. We did a Waller TX load, and a pre-load at Covestro. We loaded TDI at Covestro and on the way back to the yard it poured down rain. Also some idiot pulled right out in front of me on the wet road!
