Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
Today I had Ronald Johnson with me again. We had two loads to Daikin in Waller, TX. He was very talkative as we headed out, but then fell asleep half way there!
It was a normal day, very hot, both loads coming off without any problems. I took Ronald to Irv's for lunch, we both had breakfast burrito's.
When we got back we had to have Best Transportation pick off the loaded container so we could switch chassis so that the chassis could get inspected. I got payed a two-hour minimum for that, which was nice.
At the Branch while leaving I talked to Diane for a few minutes to see how she was after she returned from the hospital.
One of our drivers was sitting by the front door and I spoke with him. For reasons of privacy I will just say that he is a very nice middle aged Hispanic man. He had a rear end accident when a lady whom had been parked on the shoulder of the road pulled out and was hit by our driver. Everyone was unhurt!
We both were sure that he was to be terminated from the company. So it was a sad meeting. I hope he is not, since he is one of the nicest guys I know.
