Fill it up

Hello everyone.  Praise the Lord!

I had a good but interesting day last Friday. I first had to preload at Altivia (Brenntag), the trailer was at National Tank in Deer Park. I looked in the tank and it was wet! So I tell the wash rack guys, and they redryed it for me.

I get across the ship channel to Altivia and tell them that I have no pickup number or order form they have a fit! Apparently they were not told in advanced of what we were doing. We were loading two trailers with caustic in case Brenntag got orders on the weekend. After a few phone calls we got it all figured out.

As they loaded it I got a little banjo practice done. After loading I just dropped it behind the rack. I went back to the yard grabbed some food (Lasagna and spaghetti) to go and went to Equistar in Pasadena for my regular Brenntag load, (I was working vacation relief for Ronnie Martin).

Loaded there and delivered to Targa in Mt. Bellevue. Real nice people there. I filled up their tank, it was a 96 inch tank and I put 93 inches in it!  I still had some product in the tank and the hose was full. We emptied the hose in a bucket and the operator poured it in the tank.

I knew I still had some product on so I weighed at Barbour Cut truck stop, and, yes, I had 3000lbs left on. I then grabbed some more food to go and went back to Altivia. I preloaded the second trailer, and got some more banjo picking done. Busy day but a good day.
