Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I pre-loaded this trailer yesterday at Rohm and Haas in Deer Park. I need to take it to Valspar in Garland, TX, near Dallas. Valspar is a paint manufacturing plant. I arrived at the branch at three in the morning when my ten hour break was up. Cold, temperature was in the thirty's.
Through on a couple of hoses and about 3:30 in the morning I was on the road to Dallas. Got to use my new wireless Bluetooth headset. Listened to Western Swing music on the way up to Dallas. Good stuff. Going around Dallas on the loop to get to Garland, a chilies restaurant was on fire! There were several fire trucks there spraying water on the place but it was a total loss. The restaurant was totally destroyed! I guess the peppers were too hot! The rubberneckers were not too bad.
My appointment to deliver was seven this morning and at eight-twenty I was at the gate! Yes, I informed dispatch the evening before that I could not make the assigned appointment time. Its all good. They unloaded while I stood in the break room. Too cold to play the banjo. The temperature was thirty degrees. The did have coffee in the break room and I really needed it.
It was Bluegrass music on the way back to the branch. Arrived there and I was given a random drug screen form. Crud! Lucky for me no one was at the clinic and I had to go. So it was in and out. I didn't burn down chilies restaurant so what's up!
